Name & Program the Steel Pen
Step 1 — Connect the DLS Online
1. Plug the DLS Online into the on-site computer via USB.
2. Open the Deggy Online DLS AI transfer software and confirm the connection is successful — green Reader and Connection boxes, RC number visible.
Step 2 — Create a Name for the Pen
3. On the management computer, open Deggy Control AI.
4. Click Registers → select Pens → click New.
5. Type a name for the Steel Pen (e.g. "Night Shift Pen" or "Main Campus").
6. Optionally select a Site → click Save.
Step 3 — Program the Pen
7. In Registers > Pens, select the Pen name you just created.
8. Insert the Steel Pen into the DLS Online (snaps into place — hold it down).
9. Click Program on the right-hand side.
10. When "Programming OK" appears, click OK.
11. Remove the Pen from the DLS immediately — leaving it in will drain the battery.
