Create Your Database
When Deggy Control opens for the first time, it will prompt you to create or locate a database. This database stores all your patrol data, button registrations, tours, and reports.
1. When the database dialog appears, select Create New Database for a new installation.
2. Save the database at the recommended default location: C:\DeggyData — click OK.
3. The software will open to the First Steps view. Switch to the Dashboard view using the button at the bottom.
4. To lock the menu: click the Home tab → far right → click the thumbtack (pin) icon.
Important: Existing customers on a new computer: choose Open Existing Database and navigate to your .MDB file. Contact support@deggy.com if you need help transferring your database.
